Prophet Angel Asiamah, husband of Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, a former traditional priestess turned evangelist, has expressed confidence that he and his wife will overcome their current challenges.
He has noted that they have faced tougher situations before and emerged victorious because the Lord saw them through.
Speaking during a Sunday service on July 6, 2025, just three days after his wife’s imprisonment, Asiamah emphasised that faith is his trump card. He urged members of his wife’s congregation to exercise faith, assuring them that Nana Agradaa will overcome the situation.
According to him, the real reason behind his wife’s sentencing is to dismantle her church. He claimed the charges leading to her imprisonment were fabricated, explaining that people willingly made offerings during a watch night service without coercion, opposed to the narrative that she duped people for their monies.
However, some unscrupulous persons, he claimed, with evil intentions, recorded a video outside the church premises, claiming Agradaa has taken their monies with the promise of doubling it for them.
Just as Jesus Christ resurrected from the death, Angel Asiamah was also confident that his wife will be vindicated at the end of the day.
“If Jesus was victorious over death, what else can we not be victorious over? Unless you don’t have faith. I have faith so should you. it will be a testimony. We’ve seen what’s worse than this. The whole issue is about some people who want to collapse the church. That’s the whole story. It is part of the mission. It is part of the mission that she should be jailed and go through all she is going through.
“People stood at the church premises to make videos that Mama Pat has taken their monies. This is something they donated when they were touched to give whilst she was preaching at an all night service. But people said he forced them to take their money.”
Asiamah expressed confidence that his wife, Nana Agradaa, will be vindicated. He drew inspiration from the Bible with Jesus Christ’s resurrection, saying, “If Jesus was victorious over death, what else can we not be victorious over? Unless you don’t have faith. I have faith, so should you.”
He added, “it will be a testimony. We’ve seen what’s worse than this.” According to him, the controversy surrounding his wife’s imprisonment is an attempt to dismantle the church.

Regarding allegations of forced offerings, Asiamah explained that, “people stood at the church premises to make videos that Mama Pat has taken their money. This is something they donated when they were touched to give while she was preaching at an all-night service. But people said she forced them to take their money.”
