3news has found a trail of posts on Facebook linked to the 9G-ADV aircraft that crashed in Tema Community 1 on Marh 16.
The two occupants of the Microlight aircraft died in the blaze that erupted after it crashed near a primary school in Site 17.
Pictures and videos that emerged showed the charred remains of the occupants who are yet to be identified.

The posts discovered by 3news date back to 2022.
“After 21 years and six months his heart is pumping again and is almost ready to take his first flight again, can’t wait for the test flight!!,” one Roberto Billia posted and tagged Sky Arrow on December 23, 2022.

Then on January 25, 2023, Roberto Billia posted again, “almost ready, after 21 years is almost ready to get in the sky once again, yesterday had inspection of GCAA to release the permit for the test flight![]()
“.

The aircraft was subsequently flown on February 4, 2023

The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority said the aircraft was flying from Ho to Accra when the incident occurred.
This is contained in a press release issued by the GCAA.
“The aircraft was flying from Ho to Accra, estimating Accra at 1520 Z. The last contact with the aircraft on radio was 1418 Z. There were two persons on board. Further details will be provided in due course,” the GCAA said.
Background
Earlier, a Sky Arrow micro light aircraft crashed in Tema, Community 1, Site 17.
Eyewitnesses say the incident occurred at about 3:30pm.
Ghana Fire Service Personnel rushed to the ground to assess the situation and offer the necessary assistance.
“Two bodies have been received,” a GNFS official said.
The reports further indicated that the accident occurred near a school compound.
Meanwhile, all teachers and pupils have been evacuated from the scene.
The scene of the incident has also been cordoned off to prevent interference.

Men from Aircraft Incidents and Accident investigation Bureau are said to be moving to the site.
