AJ and the empowered women

For the AJ Sarpong Foundation, impact begins with creating opportunities that empower people to shape their own futures.

A few weeks ago, the Foundation brought this vision to life in Agogo, Asante Akyem, where 50 women participated in soap-making training under its Skills Training Initiative.

The initiative is a reflection of the passion project of ace media personality AJ Akuoko-Sarpong, whose commitment to social impact is deeply rooted in her passion for women, children and the vulnerable in society.

Through the Foundation, she continues to champion initiatives that create opportunities, restore hope and help individuals and communities realise their potential.

The programme equips women with practical, marketable skills that can open doors to entrepreneurship, income generation and greater financial independence. For the Foundation, this is more than teaching a skill; it is about investing in women, strengthening families and creating opportunities for communities to thrive.

As the Foundation looks towards its next outreach, it is inviting corporate organisations, development partners and individuals to join its mission of empowering more people through practical skills development.

The vision is simple: create opportunities, empower lives and make impact that lasts.

With strategic partnerships and the support of like-minded sponsors, the AJ Sarpong Foundation hopes to extend its reach, equip more beneficiaries and bring meaningful opportunities to more communities.

The first 50 women in Agogo are a reminder of what is possible when opportunity meets action. The next chapter could reach even further.
