President Akufo-Addo is seeking the support of electorates in the Ashanti Region to retain the New Patriotic Party in government, come December 7.

That, according to the President, is the only guarantee for all ongoing developmental projects to see the light of day.

Nana Addo made the call after commissioning four 40-bed district hospitals in the region.

The hospitals located at Drobonso in the Sekyere Afram Plains district, Sabronum in Ahafo Ano South East, Twedie in Atwima Mponua, and Suame are part of twelve 40-bed district hospitals constructed on a turnkey basis, in four regions.

The 71.5-million-euro projects form part of government’s commitment to achieving the universal health coverage by extending primary health care services to the doorstep of communities.

“What we are witnessing today is outstanding. When the project begun, we felt like it won’t be completed.

“We thank the President and his team for delivering this promise that will see an enhanced health delivery services in this area”, Anantahene, Baffuor Agyei Fosu Twitwikwa commended the government when the Twedie hospital was commissioned.

President Akufo-Addo pleaded with electorates to keep the New Patriotic Party in government to continue delivering.

“We want a leader who is honest, firm, and straightforward like Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to develop Ghana.

“Dr Bawumia is the only one who can continue with what I’ve started and even add on to better the lives of Ghanaians. So, we have to vote for him, massively”, President Akufo-Addo pleaded.

Each of the facilities has a public health department, theatres, labour delivery stations, maternity ward, paediatric ward, male ward, and female ward among other ancillary facilities.

It also comes with 12-units 2-bedroom semi-detached accommodation for hospital staff.
