The judge presiding over the ambulance purchase trial, Justice Afia Serwa Asare-Botwe, has advised the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Godfred Yeboah Dame, to recuse himself from the matter over professional and prosecutorial misconduct.
This was after the court declined jurisdiction to order an inquiry and mistrial based on the prosecutorial misconduct of the Attorney-General.
The court also directed the Minority Leader, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, to seek redress at the appropriate forum, the General Legal Council, if so minded.
