Anim Foundation has made a significant donation of beverages to Onua Foundation to support the Onua ‘Boafo Yɛ Na‘ event.
The items were donated at the premises of Media General in Accra on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 by Anim Darfour, as part of efforts to support vulnerable communities and to help the Onua ‘Boafo Yɛ Na’ upcoming event on Saturday, March 1.
The donation, which includes essential items, aims to alleviate the suffering of those in need.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Foundation, Abu Issa Monnie, who heads the charity arm of Onua FM/TV, expressed gratitude to Anim Foundation, stating that the donation will go a long way in supporting their initiatives.
“Thank you very much for coming to the Onua Foundation. We can see you have a lot of things to support our upcoming event ‘Onua Boafo Yɛ Na
“We have been a broadcast media and we have the foundation, we have radio, television and online. So we used those platforms to campaign. We are happy that you are here to make your donation to ‘Boafo Yɛ Na’ on behalf of your foundation, Anim foundation. You’re welcome,” he concluded.
According to the President of the Foundation, Anim Darfour, “we are Anim Foundation, our aim is to help the vulnerable people in the community. So, we usually do the donation to orphanage homes, prisons service and others. So, this year we decided to join Onua Foundation’s ‘Boafo Yɛ Na’ for the annual programme. So, we are here to present these to Onua TV and Media General as partners of their project.
“As part of our donation, we have an amount of GH¢5,000 to support the program as well,” he added.
The Anim Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to supporting vulnerable communities through donations, advocacy, and community development programmes.
‘Boafo Yɛ Na’ (which translates to “help is near” in Twi) is the mantra behind the Anim Foundation’s philanthropic efforts.
