Anum Presbyterian Secondary School (Ansec) Old Students Association has announced the successful completion of the Headmistress Bungalow renovation project.

The renovation of the over 45 years accommodation facility, which commenced in November of last year, was aimed at modernizing the bungalow’s infrastructure while preserving its historical features.

The project’s scope included structural repairs, replacing electrical and plumbing systems, and enhanced interior aesthetics.

According to the contractor, Emmanuel Yeboah, who is himself an alumnus, the project was completed on schedule and within budget, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the National Executive Committee and stakeholders, principally the various year groups.

Final inspections have been conducted, and the renovated facility has been handed over to the school management for use by the Headmistress.

The Headmistress, Stella Enyo Atiase, an alumna with the 1990 year group, expressed gratitude to the National Executive Committee, Old Students Association (AOSA) and her year group for attending to the call, which has culminated to providing a habitable place of abode.

The renovated bungalow is expected to impact positively on the school community since the newly appointed school head, Mrs Atiase, will now reside on the school premises and does not have to commute daily the distance of about 15 km to deliver effectively on her responsibilities.
