Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak have moved up the final standings of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.

This follows the deduction of 3 points from the total accumulation by Nations FC after their protest against Basake Holy Stars was dismissed.

Aside the point deduction, the Abrankese-based side were also fined GHS2,500 for breaching the GFA Premier League Regulations.

Before the decision by the Disciplinary Committee, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak were 4th and 5th respectively though on the same points, 58.

Nations FC were 3rd behind champions Bibiani Goldstars SC and Heart of Lions.

But after Tuesday’s decision, Nations FC dropped to 5th with their points reduced from 60 to 57.

They have been given 24 hours within which to appeal the decision.

Basake Holy Stars climbed to 12th from 15th position as per the decision to award them 3 points and 3 goals from the protest.
