Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, returned home on November 27 after State visits to Barbados and Suriname.
His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II was warmly received at the Prempeh I International Airport by Nananom of Asanteman, led by Bantamahene Baffour Owusu Amankwatia VI, together with a delegation from the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council headed by Chief Director Michael Owusu Amoako.
A magnificent display of diverse cultural heritage and ceremonial tradition marked the warm reception of Asantehene, upon his return to Kumasi.

Asantehene embarked on one week state visits to Barbados and Suriname.
In Suriname, he attended the 50th Independent anniversary parade and also 3-day state visit to Barbados aimed at strengthening ties between Ghana and that country.
In unity, chiefs, queen mothers, and elders stood poised to receive the Asantehene, symbolising the deep respect and loyalty that bind Asanteman together.

Their synchronised steps, graceful gestures, and dignified presence reflected centuries of tradition and the enduring strength of our heritage.
It was more than a welcome. It was a powerful reminder of the bond between nananom and their king, a living testament to the pride, identity, and unbroken lineage of the Asante Kingdom.
Manhyia Palace also came alive in a magnificent display of culture, pride, and tradition as Otumfuo, arrived to a grand and heartfelt welcome.
Chiefs, Queen Mothers, Elders , and dignitaries lined the palace grounds, adorned in resplendent kente and gold regalia, their presence a powerful symbol of loyalty and reverence.
