Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has assured the people of Kenyasi 1 and 2 of fixing the road to Hwidiem before the December 7 elections.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia was addressing the chiefs, Muslim clerics and the clergy as part of his tour of the Asutifi North Constituency in the Western North region.
“When I was coming this morning, I saw that the contractor has come back to site, very soon you will see that it will be asphalted before we cast our votes. I will speak to the contractor but the work he is doing, he says he has brought his asphalt machine and very soon it will be asphalted,” he assured.
Dr Bawumia said, “The market too, there is a contractor on it so we will work with it, the Islamic school that you also mention you will hear from me. With your university, I am very confident that by Monday, Regional Minister will have a meeting with you and me too I will support with my strength so that we meet with GTEC so that we can get the accreditation.”
The NPP flagbearer further noted that, “Because of all that, that’s why I said help me to become a president, when you vote for me, I can be president for eight years, so after four years I will come and account to you. But with the former President, when you vote for him, he will become President for four years, you will not find him again so give the steer to me.”
