The Vice President and flag bearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has cast his ballot in the Walewale constituency of the Savannah Region in the ongoing elections.

The NPP presidential candidate expressed confidence in winning the polls counting on the effective campaign run by himself and his team when he spoke with the media.

He noted that the track record of the current administration is evident for Ghanaians to reward them with another victory.

“I am confident of victory,” Dr Bawumia said. “The people of Ghana have witnessed the transformation we have delivered, and I believe they will make the right choice to continue on this path of progress.”

To uphold Ghana’s democratic values, the Vice President urged the citizenry to cast their ballots peacefully without indulging in any form of violence.

He commended the electoral officials for their professionalism and encouraged citizens to ensure a smooth and transparent election process.
