A robbery incident at a phone shop at Kwame Danso in the Sene West district of the Bono East region Saturday, July 22, 2023, left two dead with three others sustaining various degrees of injuries.
The armed men numbering about four, made away with some mobile phones and other accessories worth thousands of Ghana Cedis.
Information gathered by OnuaOnline indicate the suspects carried out the operation around 7:40pm immediately after a power outage (dumsor) which was restored few minutes after the robbers had left.
Bodies of the deceaseds, Adamu Ibrahim, 40, and 19-year-old Abubakar Karim, have been handed over to the family whilst the injured victims have been transferred to Yeji for further treatment.

No arrests had been made as at the time this report was being filed, as indicated by the Sene West District Police Command.
Meanwhile, families of the deceased are urging the police to seek justice for the victims.
The incident has left many residents in fear and panic hindering their daily activities according to Daniel Adu Gyamfi, a local reporter.
