Founder and CEO of The Last Two Music Group Edward Nana Poku, popularly known as Hammer, has described rapper Kwaw Kese as a wise man behind a mad man’s persona.
Kwaw Kese was discovered by Hammer during the early days of his musical career, and later rose to prominence as a household name in Ghana music and beyond.
The legendary music producer, in an interview on Accra-based Starr FM, described Kwaw Kese as a determined character.
“Kwaw is determined and one thing he told me was that he really means to do this thing and it was impressive
“When I finished the first compilation which was Obrafuor’s ‘X diary’ where every body had a song to their name, the deal was go and perform your song and it’s for you.”
According to him, Kwaw Kese went to do his performances, put money together and did his own album and that was amazing.
“Behind the mad man persona Kwaw is a wise big boy.”
