Ghana’s Black Princesses played out a 2-2 draw against South Korea in their second friendly game ahead of the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The game against the Asians comes barely a week after the Princesses were held to a goalless draw by Mexico.
The match was played at the Centro Deportivo Choquenza in Bogota, Colombia.
The Asians began the score in the 16th minute from the spot.
However, Stella Nyamekye restored parity for the national U-20 women’s team.
Jennifer Owusuwaa put the Ghanaians in the lead for the first time in the game in the second half only for the Koreans to equalise again from the spot.
Both sides used Tuesday’s game as part of preparation for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, which starts on Saturday, August 31.
Ghana are paired in Group E with Japan, New Zealand and Austria.
South Korea, on the other hand, are in Group D together with Germany, Venezuela and Nigeria.
