The Black Queens on Tuesday, July 9 held their first training session at the Seibu Ryokuchi Park in Japan ahead of the friendly encounter game against Nadeshiko Japan.

The friendly is to prepare the Japanese women’s national team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games while the Ghanaians will use the exercise as part of the team rebuilding process.

The game will be played on Saturday, July 13 at the Kanazawa Go Go Curry Stadium.

The Black Queens arrived in Kanazawa City on Tuesday and proceeded to do a light shake-up after the long journey.

The Queens will continue their training on Wednesday, July 10 through to Friday, July 12 before the friendly.

All players participated in a successful training session and are in fine spirits ahead of the match, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) said on its website.
