Black Queens Head Coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren has released a 23-man squad for this month’s training tour in Senegal.
The nine-day tour is expected to add to the team’s preparations for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Morocco.
“The tour will feature high-intensity training sessions and two international friendlies against Senegal’s Teranga Lionesses in Dakar,” the Ghana Football Association (GFA) said on Wednesday, April 2.
Among the players returning to the squad are Ernestina Abambilla of Eto Gyors FC, Princess Owusu of Unye Kadin Spor Kuludu, Phillicity Asuako of Police Ladies and Patience Peterson-Kundok of Trabzonspor.
Hasaacas Ladies goalkeeper Grace B. Banwaa has been handed a debut call-up.

The Queens are returning to the tournament after missing out the 2022 edition.
They will play in Group C with South Africa, Mali and Tanzania.
They recently travelled to Casablanca to engage Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses in a friendly match that ended 1-0 in favour of the hosts.
