The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the fixtures for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) to be held in July in Morocco.

By the schedule, the Black Queens will take on defending champions South Africa in their opening group game on Monday, July 7, two days after the opening match.

Ghana and South Africa are paired in Group C together with Mali and Tanzania.

The match between the Bayana Bayana and the Black Queens will be played at the 35,000-capacity Stade d’Honneur d’Oujda.

The Ghanaians, who are returning to the tournament after missing the last edition also held in Morocco, will take on Mali in their second game on Friday, July 11 at the Stade Municipal de Berkane.

They will, then, wrap up the group campaign on Monday, July 14 with a clash against Tanzania.

The opening game for the tournament, the 15th edition, is scheduled for the Olympic Stadium in Rabat between Morocco and Nora Haüptle’s Zambia on Saturday, July 5.

The final will be played on Saturday, July 26 at the same venue.
