The national U-20 men’s soccer team, the Black Satellites, left Accra Sunday morning for Morocco, where they are scheduled to engage in an international tournament.

This forms part of preparations of the team ahead of the U-20 AFCON scheduled to take place in La Côte d’Ivoire from Saturday, April 26 to Sunday, May 18.

The four-nation tournament is scheduled to start on Monday, March 17 and end on Tuesday, March 25.

The Black Satellites have been paired in Group A for the AFCON.

They are in the same group with hosts La Côte d’Ivoire, DR Congo, Tanzania and a representative from the Central African Football Federations Union (UNIFAC).

The team has been engaged in friendlies with some Ghana Premier League clubs.
