The semi-finalists of the ongoing WAFU Zone B U-20 Championships have been determined.
After Ghana and Niger sailed through from Group A, three-team Group B was determined after a Nigeria-Ivory Coast showdown at Stade Municipal on Thursday.
The Flying Eagles beat their opponents 2-1 to top their group.
Luckily for the Ivorians, their consolation in that game gave them the other ticket of qualification to the know-out stage at the expense of Burkina Faso, who saw off Nigeria in the opening group game.
As a result, Nigeria will face Niger while Ghana face Ivory Coast in the semi-finals on Sunday, October 27.
The winners will play in the final while the losers will play in the third-place play-offs.
The finalists are also set to make it to the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
