Black Sharks ended the 2024 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations in the 5th position after beating Mozambique 5-3 in the second classification game on Thursday.
Ghana had gone out of contention for the ultimate after losing their two opening group games.
The Black Sharks lost 6-3 to hosts Egypt in the very first game at Hurghada and a few days later lost 5-2 to Morocco.
That crashed the West Africans out of contention with the North Africans dominating in Group A.
The Sharks, however, bounced back to beat Tanzania 10-3 in the final group game, picking the only ticket for the classification match.
On Thursday, October 24, Ghana came face-to-face against Mozambique at the Albatross Stadium in Hurghada.
With a hat-trick from outstanding player Alexander Adjetey, the Black Sharks beat their East African counterparts 5-3.
Adjetey is in contention for the Goal King.
Hosts Egypt are set to take on Senegal while Morocco and Mauritania meet in their semi-finals scheduled for Thursday.
The winners will automatically book a place in the 2025 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup to be held in Seychelles.
