Ghanaian musician Black Sherif left the event grounds at the University of Mines and Technology (UMAT) in Tarkwa following a shocking incident amidst his performance.
A viral video on social media shows that the musician while performing on stage witnessed an unfortunate incident where two fans experienced an electric shock.
The cause of the electric shock has not yet been established.
Black Sherif upon witnessing the incident and disturbed by what he saw, abruptly stopped his performance and left the venue, expressing dissatisfaction with the planning and safety measures at the event grounds.
In a video that quickly went viral, Black Sherif was seen heading directly to his car despite pleas from fans and organisers to continue his performance.

Black Sherif and his team are yet to officially issue a statement on the matter. The organisers of the event have not yet commented on the matter.
Social media fans have expressed their support for Black Sherif’s decision emphasising that human life is more important. Unconfirmed reports suggest that one of the victims has recovered while another is in critical condition.
