Ghana Premier League side Bofoakwa Tano FC have appointed former Kotoku Royals head coach John Eduafor Jnr as their new technical handler.

The appointment was announced on Saturday, December 9.

It comes nearly a fortnight after the club parted ways with Coach Stephen Frimpong Manso and his assistant, Isaac Kofi Sarfo

A statement on Thursday, November 23 said, “This decision was made in the utmost interest of the club.”

Frimpong Manso has since been appointed the head coach of fellow Ghana Premier League side Bibiani Gold Stars.

His replacement, John Eduafor Jnr, comes in with his recent experience as the Assistant Coach of Asante Kotoko.

He returned with Prosper Nartey Ogum to the Kotoko family.

“He comes in with immense experience in the [Ghana Premier League] and an in-depth knowledge in the modern game,” the club said on Saturday, December 9.

Eduafor Jnr has been tasked to ensure that Bofoakwa Tano FC move up the league standings.

They are currently 11th with 16 points and would have two outstanding games by the time the new coach officially takes charge.
