Parliament has approved the 2024 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the government.
The Thursday, December 7, 2023, proceedings in the House had 138 Members of Parliament on the ‘ayes’ side with 136 on the ‘Nays’.
According to the Speaker of Parliament, Albert Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, one MP was absent during the Thursday headcount.
James Gyakye Quayson, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central was not in the House.
