Two persons have been burnt to ashes while two others have been injured after a saloon car collided with two articulated trucks.

The saloon car made a wrongful overtaking
and collided with the trucks at Tonisco Quarry near Potsin Junction on the Kasoa – Cape Coast highway in the Central region.

The accident involves a Hyundai Elantra with registration number GW 4260-22, an Articulated truck registered GL 736 -13 and another with GS 3913 – 11 as its registration number.

Information gathered indicate one articulated truck hit the other at the back after the Hyundai Elantra had collided with it for a wrongful overtaking.

An eyewitness tells Onua News two passengers from the first truck that collided with the saloon car got burnt whilst the two others on the Hyundai were rushed to the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment.
