The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has called off its two-month old strike.

The Association has given government up to October to resolve all the issues raised.

It is demanding migration to a university status which government has agreed to do it.

President of CETAG, Prince Obeng Himeh, has said the Association called off the strike based on calls it had from the Office of the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

CETAG has given government up to October to address the issues it raised to embark on its strike.
