Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr. Agyeman Badu II, the Council Chairman of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR), has presented a 2025 Toyota Levin hybrid to valedictorian Jennifer Addae, a BSC Chemistry student.
In his speech, Dr. Agyeman Badu II emphasized the importance of recognizing academic excellence at UENR, stating, “When excellence is recognized, it encourages discipline, purpose, and healthy competition.”
He expressed his commitment to supporting students, highlighting that the car symbolizes belief in the future of young people and the role of education in national development.

Dr. Agyeman Badu II praised the university for fostering an environment where merit is acknowledged and congratulated Addae on her impressive achievements. He reflected on the promise he made during the establishment of UENR to support education in the Brong-Ahafo region.
Jennifer Addae’s academic record is exemplary; she earned 6 A’s and 1 B+ in her first semester of level 200, followed by 7 A’s in the second semester. At level 300, she maintained a GPA of 3.85 with 6 A’s and 2 B’s, and again achieved a GPA of 4.0 in her final semester. Overall, she graduated with a GPA of 3.95, earning the titles of the best graduating student in her department, School of Science, and overall for the 2025 academic year.
