The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Effia Constituency, Isaac Yaw Boamah Nyarko, has initiated a road rehabilitation project to address the deteriorated condition of roads in the constituency.
The project, funded solely by the candidate, focuses on reshaping the Effiakuma Number 9 Bypass and Koobi Bar Roads.
The Effiakuma Number 9 bypass route is a critical alternative route to Effiakuma New Site and Takoradi Technical University, particularly during heavy traffic on the main Effiakuma highway.
However, its deteriorated state has caused commuting challenges for drivers.
Western Regional Coordinator of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) Abdul Ganiyu Mohammed commended lawyer Boamah for his efforts, noting that the rehabilitation will also help mitigate flooding in the area.
Residents and drivers who use the road have expressed their appreciation for the initiative.
Lawyer Boamah emphasized his commitment to addressing the concerns of the constituents, stating that he will continue to work towards finding solutions to their problems.
