The Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP), has nominated and endorsed Dr. Daniel Augustus Lartey Jnr, to lead the party in the 2024 general elections.
Dr. Augustus Lartey Jnr was announced at the party’s 7th National Delegates Congress held in Accra Thursday, September 5, 2024.
He and other national executives of the party were elected unopposed and were sworn in by executives from the Electoral Commission.
Dr. Lartey Jnr in his introductory and acceptance speech promised to lead the GCPP in the Presidential race for an overwhelming victory in the December 7 polls.
Optimistic of appearing on the ballot paper, the GCPP flagbearer challenged the party supporters to unrelentingly ensure the party’s victory.
He pledged to introduce path-breaking ideas and solutions to develop Ghana.
Key areas he envisages to champion in developing the country include agriculture and industrialisation.
