The Bono East communication officers of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been handed eleven (11) motorcycles by the flag bearer of the party, John Dramani Mahama.
The bikes were presented to the regional Chairman for onward delivery to the party constituency communication officers by Sammy Gyamfi, the head of the NDC’s Communication Bureau.
In a circular released by Mr. Gyamfi after the presentation Saturday, May 18, 2024, he said “we are eternally grateful to our father and flag-bearer H.E. John Dramani Mahama for his continuous support and guidance.”
He stated that the party has so far distributed motorcycles to “all our Communication Officers in seven (7) regions (Bono, Upper East, Upper West, North East, Western North, Savannah and Bono East) to enhance their mobility and assist them to effectively disseminate the messages of the party.”
“Some of these regions and others have also received logistics such as mobile phones, laptops among others in this endeavor,” he added.
He noted that they hope to distribute the bikes across all the regions and also provide a one brand new vehicle each for the regions to enhance their campaign ahead of the December elections.
“Our profound appreciation also goes to all our benefactors who continue to support the communications bureau of the party. With your support and the help of God, we shall cover all 16 regions and achieve our goal of providing every region with a strong pickup vehicle mounted with strong P.A system, for the effective dissemination of the messages of the party for VICTORY come December 7, 2024,” he noted.
