The leader and presidential candidate for the Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC), Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, has asked Ghanaians to change their pattern of voting in the upcoming elections.

He says people should change the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) duopoly and vote for him.

According to Mr. Kyerematen, Ghanaians after voting for these two parties since the commencement of the Fourth Republic have gained nothing better from them hence his quest for them to have a new force in government.

“It is time for us to change the pattern of voting. You can’t do the same thing repeatedly and expect different results,” he said Tuesday, October 08, 2024, at the palace of the Adansehene, Opagyakotwere Afriyie Bonsra II, when he paid a courtesy call on him.

“How can two parties rule a country for 32 years and still have bad roads, so we must rethink and vote them out,” he added.

Alan Kyerematen has also promised to change the 1992 constitution which according to him is one of the major reasons why the country is not developing.

He also accused the two major political parties NPP, NDC of doing nothing to help the development of the people of Ghana saying “the two political parties have stayed in power for 32 years yet all our roads are in bad shape. If that is the case, then on what grounds are they telling us to vote for them again?”

“There are other places where people cannot get water to drink while there has been power outages. So let’s think about it critically,” Alan chided.
