General Manager of News at Media General, Astus Ahiagble, has assured the public that his outfit will provide the best coverage of the 2020 elections for Ghanaians.
He says Media General will attach high professionalism to the coverage to ensure its audience are not left out in any of the key issues that will emerge during the elections.
Speaking at the launch of Election Command Centre at Media General’s premises Thursday, August 29, 2024, he said The Election Command Centre will deliver nothing far from accuracy to the people.

With a promise of superior audience experience.
“Elections are the heart of our democracy, and as Ghana prepares for another pivotal vote, the role of the media is to provide accurate, timely, and reliable information,” he stated.
Highlighting the importance of elections towards the progress of every nation, Mr. Ahiagble reemphasised the need to channel the networks’ coverage of the polls on the people to ensure they get the best out of the circumstances.
“We understand the importance of elections to the development our communities and country and that is why we have made our focus of this years election coverage on ‘The People’. In ensuring we provide equal coverage and media exposure for all political parties and democratic activities, we are also making it an important point to project the voice of the people. They are our priority and that is why we will be launching our “USE YOUR VOICE” campaign.
“As many of our audiences have noticed, we have commenced a lot of community engagement on TV3 and 3FM aimed at reaching out to the people in all communities and constituencies to make their voices heard.
