The Chief Executive Officer for Tymcoin Pharmacy (CEO) Dr Emmanuel Martey Philansmith, has reaffirmed his commitment to empowering the youths through skills development.
He said it is his mission to help reduce unemployment, poverty, and teenage pregnancy in Lower Manya Krobo.
According to him, skills training remains one of the most effective tools for transforming lives and creating opportunities for the youth.
“I believe empowering young men and women through skills training is the best way to help them secure their future and support their families in Odumase Krobo,” he said.
Mr Philansmith disclosed that he has so far trained 62% of young men and women in various skills including farming, fashion design, soap making, beads making, shower gel production, and other income-generating ventures.
He encouraged the youthful entrepreneurs to register their businesses with the appropriate authorities to enable them access support from institutions such as the Youth Employment Agency and other development organizations.
Mr Philansmith also disclosed that admission into skills centres is free and available through direct registration as well as through sponsorships from him.
He pledged to continue investing in skills training and entrepreneurship development to empower more young men and women contribute to the socio-economic growth of the Odumase Krobo area.
