The Concerned Former Employees of GN Bank and Savings have extended warm congratulations to President-Elect John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their resounding electoral victory.

In a statement, the group, comprising sympathizers and ex-staff of the defunct GN Bank, described the win as a monumental moment reflecting the collective desire for change in Ghana.

They highlighted the challenges stemming from the 2019 banking crisis, which they claim left a profound impact on the financial landscape and the livelihoods of millions of Ghanaians.

The former employees expressed optimism about “President Mahama’s commitment to restoring indigenous financial institutions, including the revival of GN Bank, other defunct banks, and affected savings and loans companies.”

According to them, these measures symbolize hope for economic recovery and financial stability.

As they look to the future, the group called upon God to grant the President-Elect wisdom, strength, and courage in his leadership journey.

They reiterated their “support for his administration, urging him to prioritize the restoration of jobs and security for Ghanaians.”

The statement, signed by Convener Philip Sarpiah, ends with a reaffirmation of their faith in Ghana’s progress under the new leadership.
