Fearless Echoes from the Ghana Prisons Headquarters emerged as the ultimate champions of the 5 Star Energy Jama Masters 2026 reality show.

The explosive grand finale took place on Saturday, 3 October 2026, at the packed La Kpaan Sɛɛ in Labadi, Accra, drawing hundreds of passionate cultural music enthusiasts.

Out of the seventeen traditional jama groups that started the national competition broadcast on TV3, only seven elite finalists made it to the grand arena. The finalists were MTCE Morale, The Generals, The DONS, Kpetekple Jama, Holy Family Morale, Fearless Echoes Morale and Adom Drumming Group.

After two rounds of high-powered, rhythm-heavy performances, Fearless Echoes claimed the top prize, while MTCE Morale and The Generals secured second and third places, respectively.

The highly competitive event was hosted by the charismatic Lord Asoreba Thunderh, the Jama Lord, whose unstoppable energy fired up the contestants and captivated the audience of the 5 Star Energy Jama Masters. The grand finale pushed the groups to their creative limits, providing an unforgettable spectacle for the audience.

Fearless Echoes, the champions, delivered a masterful display of military-grade synchronisation, thunderous drumming and booming vocal arrangements that completely commanded the venue. The second-placed MTCE Morale, the crowd favourite, delivered a highly melodic and emotionally charged set, blending classic street chants with modern highlife rhythms, whereas The Generals Morale, who placed third, brought raw, unadulterated “morale” energy, setting the stage on fire with fast-paced percussion and dramatic, fast-moving formations.

La Kpaan Sɛɛ was filled to capacity, with student groups and community morale crews waving flags, clapping in perfect unison and erupting in roaring cheers. A representative of the title sponsor, 5 Star Energy Drink, delivered an inspiring speech commending all seventeen groups for their dedication to preserving and promoting authentic Ghanaian street music culture.

Fearless Echoes received GH¢15,000 cash, a complete set of jama instruments, an official plaque and an assortment of sponsor products. MTCE Morale walked away with GH¢10,000 cash and sponsor products, while The Generals received GH¢5,000 cash and sponsor products.

The organisers of the competition, Brein Consult, expressed their appreciation to all the participating groups, 5 Star Energy Drink, Perla Mineral Water and TV3 for their sponsorship and partnership. They assured jama music lovers of their continued commitment to the promotion and preservation of the culture.
