Four persons are battling for their lives after gas cylinder explosion at Adum in the city of Kumasi.
The incident happened around 5am on Wednesday morning, September 24,2025, when a food vendor and her workers were preparing their meals for sales.
Information gathered by our news team from the disaster scene, indicated that, residents heard a loud blast and rushed to the scene, where they found four people injured.
The affected victims were quickly rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment.
“The food vendor and her workers sell jollof rice, so they were preparing their food when the incident happened,” an eyewitness said.
“We are yet to understand what really brought the explosion so we immediately called on the Ghana National Fire Service who came to the rescue of the affected,” another stated.
