July’s second pricing window has seen some Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) upwardly adjusting their prices at the pumps.

Shell, one of the leading oil marketing companies, which previously sold a litre of petrol at GHȼ14.80 is now selling at GHȼ15.10 while a litre of diesel previously selling at GH¢14.92 is now selling at GHȼ15.25.

It is expected that more Oil Marketing Companies also adjust their prices at the pumps soon.

The Chamber of Petroleum Consumers (COPEC), ahead of the second pricing window for July, predicted a 4 per cent rise in petroleum product prices effective Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
