The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has postponed its Executive Council (ExCo) elections originally scheduled to be held on Tuesday, January 21.

The Association has moved the polls to Thursday, January 23 “due to circumstances beyond our control”.

A press release issued on Thursday insisted, however, that the time and venue remain unchanged.

The elections are scheduled to be held at the GHALCA Secretariat at 9:00am.

Vice Chairman John Kofi Ansah is gunning for the top job after Chairman Cudjoe Fianoo decided not to contest again.

Former Executive Council member Isaac Wilberforce Koomson is also contesting the top job.

Nana Amankwah Kwakye and Phylis Marku Moncar are vying for the Vice Chairmanship position.

Those contesting for the two representatives for the Premier League slot are Gold Stars FC’s Fred Tindana, Vision FC’s Abdul Rahman and Berekum Chelsea’s Nkoo Joseph.
