Government and the Ghana Police Service have honoured 20 police personnel who tragically lost their lives in separate incidents.
Out of the twenty, six had their names engraved on the Police Wall of Honour, whilst the remaining fourteen were recorded in the Memorial Book of Honour.
Police Memorial Day is observed annually to pay tribute to officers who gave their lives in service of the nation.
President John Mahama laid a wreath on behalf of the government whiles the IGP Christian Tetteh Yohonu laid another on behalf of the police administration.
