Ghana’s Black Challenge will face Morocco in the final of the 2024 Amputee Africa Cup of Nations (AAFCON) on Monday.

This follows the team’s 3-0 defeat of Algeria in the semi-final of the tournament on Saturday, May 25.

Ghana went into the tournament as the defending champions and would have to beat Morocco to fulfil this target.

They thrashed The Gambia 4-0 in the opening game before seeing off Algeria 5-0.

They completed the group stage with a 2-1 win over Kenya.

In the quarter-finals, the team beat Tanzanian 2-1.

In Saturday’s semi-final clash, Yusif Yahaya opened the scoring in just the 4th minute.

Mohammed Mubarak doubled the lead in the 36th minute with a splendid goal before adding his second in the first minute after the break.

His performance won him the Man of the Match Award.

The final is scheduled to be played on Monday, May 27.
