The death has been reported of German-born Ghanaian player Agyemang Diawusie.
The Jahn Regensburg winger passed on Tuesday, November 28.
This was announced by the club.
“The club is shocked and deeply saddened by this tragic event,” the Red Shorts announced.
They described the news as “terrible”
“The Jahn family mourns with the bereaved and our thoughts are with Agyemang’s family, relatives, close friends and companions,” added the club on their official social media handles.
“Due to the terrible situation and out of respect for his family, we ask that their privacy be respected.”
Agyemang Diawusie last played for the club in the third division of German football on Saturday, November 4.
He previously played for the German U-15 and U-19 youth sides.
He played for RB Leipzig and a host of clubs before joining Jahn Regensburg this year.
