Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has said that Ghanaians are beginning to realise that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) hoodwinked them with unrealistic promises during the 2024 general elections.

He made the point that the people are realising that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration did better for them.

He said in an interview with TV3 on Tuesday, May 12, that “Ghanaians are beginning to realise that the NPP administration did better by putting in place certain social intervention programmes for their benefit.

“They’re beginning to realise that NDC made huge promises that indeed were very convenient for the campaign.”

The Efuttu lawmaker further stated that the Mahama administration is not orusuing the needed reforms for Ghanains.

“This government is not pursuing the appropriate amd needed reforms that will ensure that the energy sector is stable.

“Government has not taken advantage to make the necessary investment in the agricultural sector to increase production.”
