Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2024 winner, Nihad Titiaka Oases Ibrahim, has strengthened her commitment to climate action and sustainable entrepreneurship through a high-level engagement with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat.
The engagement, which took place on Friday, 28th February 2025, was part of a strategic collaboration between EcoGreen Oases Legacy (Nihad’s climate advocacy NGO), and Future Leaders Model United Nations, Ghana (FLMUN-Ghana), a youth-led organization focused on diplomacy, governance, climate action and sustainable trade.
The meeting was led by Mr. Rui Pedro Livramento, Chief of Staff, Bureau of the Secretary-General of AfCFTA, and focused on advancing climate-conscious trade, youth entrepreneurship, and policy leadership in Africa’s free trade space.
Taking to Instagram to share her experience, Nihad Titiaka Oases Ibrahim wrote:
“As Winner of Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2024 and Founder of EcoGreen Oases Legacy, I had the honour of joining our strategic partner, Future Leaders Model United Nations, Ghana in a strategic meeting with the AfCFTA Secretariat, led by Mr. Rui Pedro LIVRAMENTO, Chief of Staff, Bureau of the Secretary-General.
We explored climate-conscious trade, sustainable entrepreneurship, and youth-driven innovation, presenting key proposals to empower young Africans in green business and policy leadership.

During the meeting, Queen Titiaka and FLMUN-Ghana presented innovative proposals aimed at empowering African youth in sustainable business, trade governance, and climate action.
As an advocate for climate justice and women’s empowerment, the Former Face of UPSA and UPSA SRC Women’s Commissioner emphasized the urgent need for Africa to prioritize sustainability in trade policies. She highlighted the importance of:
- Encouraging young African entrepreneurs to adopt climate-conscious business models.
- Developing policies that integrate clean energy, waste management, and afforestation into intra-African trade.
- Ensuring women and youth have equitable access to AfCFTA opportunities to drive green innovation and inclusive economic growth.
The Future of Africa’s Green Economy
With climate change disproportionately affecting Africa, the meeting underscored the importance of sustainable trade policies that protect both the environment and the continent’s economic future. As Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2024 winner, Nihad Titiaka Oases Ibrahim is using her platform to advocate for policy changes that empower youth, women, and communities to thrive in the green economy.
