Black Stars and Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare has been handed a Hyundai Elantra car for use.
The saloon car was donated to the national team goalkeeper by businessman Seidu Agongo.
It is in response to reports that Asare uses public transport, popularly known as Trotro, for his movement to and fro training.
There was excitement written on the face of the locally-based player as he took delivery of the keys to the vehicle.
Safe drive by step hands!!!

Head Coach Aboubakar Ouattara, who was present at the short ceremony at the club’s commercial office, lauded the press for bringing the plight of the player to light.
He admonished his player to take good care of the asset.
“I will tell Asare to use the car well,” he said.
“He should know that he got this from what he does for a living, football. Therefore, he should play to the highest level because Ghana is one of the big football countries not in Africa but in the world.
“We thank Alhaji Agongo very much.”
Asare continues to improve on his clean sheets on the domestic front after snapping up that record on his Black Stars debut.
He was in post in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in March, when the team beat Chad 5-0 in Accra and Mauritania 3-0 in Al Hoceim, Morocco.
He also kept a clean sheet in Hearts of Oak’s last game in the Ghana Premier League against archrivals Asante Kotoko.
