Division One League side Golden Kicks SC have booked a ticket in the final of the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup after dispatching fellow division side Attram De Visser SC 3-1 on Saturday.
It was the first semi-final game scheduled for the Tarkwa and Abosso Stadium.
Golden Kicks, who knocked out Ghana Premier League sides including Hearts of Oak, on their way to the semi-finals made their intentions clear from the start of the game.
An error by De Visser goalie Dawuud Ishaque gave the Tema-based side the needed boost early on in the game.
Midfielder David Amuzu doubled the lead before the break as Golden Kicks had one leg in the final.
From the interval, they made it 3-0 before De Visser pulled one back through Precious Yaw Gyimah.
The win takes the Division One Zone 3 side to the final, awaiting the winner of the Asante Kotoko-Berekum Chelsea clash, scheduled for the same venue on Sunday.
The final of this year’s MTN FA Cup is scheduled to take place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Sunday, June 15.
