The Member of Parliament for Juaboso, who also serves as the Minister of Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has announced plans to establish a nursing training college in the Juaboso district.

According to him, the district needs a nursing training institution to train professional nurses.

He has assured the people of Juaboso that he would do everything possible to make this a reality in his capacity as the sector minister.

Upgrading Juaboso Government Hospital

Akandoh also promised to equip the Juaboso Government Hospital to meet modern standards. He emphasized that the hospital is dear to his heart, and he will work to improve healthcare facilities in the district.

Tackling Youth unemployment

Addressing concerns about youth unemployment, the Minister explained that his ministry primarily recruits health professionals. However, he assured that qualified individuals would be assisted in securing jobs within the health sector.

Additionally, he stated that he would appoint someone to help youth find job opportunities in other ministries where there are vacancies.

Road Infrastructure: Juaboso & Boinzan

Speaking on the state of roads in Juaboso and Boinzan, Mr. Akandoh admitted that it would be unrealistic to promise that all roads would be constructed immediately.

However, he assured residents that he is in negotiations with the Minister of Roads to explore ways to improve some of the roads in the district.
