Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have announced a new role for immediate past coach Aboubakar Ouattara.
In a club statement issued on Tuesday, June 24, Ouattara has been appointed Special Advisor to the Board of Directors.
Per the statement, the Ivorian “will be working directly with the Board of Directors on special assignments and duties”.
This comes in the wake of last Friday’s appointment of former Assistant Black Stars coach Mas-Ud Didi Draman as the new Head Coach for the Phobians.
Onua Sports had reported on Monday, June 23 that management was locked up in a crunch meeting to determine the fate of the Ivorian tactician, who led the club to a Top 4 finish in the just-ended league.
