Legislator Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa is questioning the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral why Bishop Dag Heward-Mills is no more featured on their website as a member.
The North Tongu Member of Parliament is bemused the Secretariat of the National Cathedral is defending a document he produced to expose their General Secretary, Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, holding another identity as Kwabena Adu Gyamfi.
In an exposé published by the MP Monday, January 16, 2023, Mr. Adu Gyamfi who is same as Rev. Kusi Boateng with multiple TINs and different dates of birth owns a company which the Secretariat has paid millions of cedis according to documents produced before Parliament.
According to Mr. Ablakwa, those monies were paid for no work done.
The Secretariat in their response to the allegations levelled by Mr. Okudzeto confirmed that the two identities are indeed the same person and the Board is focused on executing the project.
But according to the MP, the Board cannot be focused when its members are resigning.
The Cathedral Sect. by this statement confirms that Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng is indeed Kwabena Adu Gyamfi despite the different dates of birth, multiple TINs & addresses.
