Ghanaian Afrobeats artiste, Camidoh has declared his willingness to work with political parties solely on businesses purposes.

The ‘Sugarcane’ hitmaker said although he will not endorse any political party, he is ready to perform for their campaign rallies if he is called upon.

“I probably will not endorse a political party but I will work, make music, perform at all of these their rallies,” he said on The Afternoon Show on TV3, Wednesday, June 19.

According to him, he is not perturbed about people linking artistes with politicians once they transact business with them such as performing on rallies and campaign platforms.

“I think over the years, people try to put fear in artistes like you are for this political party and all that, I don’t care about that. Who you want is who you want to vote for, I can’t tell you to go and vote for somebody.

“If I do NPP performance today and NDC brings the same correct bag for a performance, I will do it, I am a musician,” he added.

Camidoh has recently released his new single titled ‘NFL (Breakfast)’ which narrates a heartbreak he went through ten months ago.

The ‘Sugarcane’ crooner told hosts of the Afternoon Show, Anita Akuffo and Godwin Namboh on Wednesday that his heartbreak experience helped him to channel more time to relate with his family, especially his mother.
