Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has disclosed that he wrote the lyrics of ‘Goodbye’ song, one of his most loved songs in his mother’s kitchen at Tema.
The song “Goodbye” by Sarkodie, featuring Mugeez, is a track from Sarkodie’s 2012 album Rapperholic and was produced by Kill Beatz and released as one of the album’s singles.
The ‘Adonai’ hitmaker made the disclosure in a tweet on Monday, June 23, 2025 while replying to a post which had the song being played at the background.
“Wrote this particular song in my mums kitchen (Tema),” Sarkodie tweeted in response to a video of a lady jamming to infectious rythms and lyrics of the 2019 song.
‘Goodbye’ blends Sarkodie’s rap verses with Mugeez’s smooth vocals, creating an emotional narrative about love, regret, and parting ways.
