A pillion rider is feared dead after a motorbike was crashed by a truck at Kasoa in the Central region.
Meanwhile, a young man has been arrested for attempting to steal the motorbike and other belongings of the victims.
According to a video available to OnuaOnline, a police officer who was in mufti at the time of the incident saw the young man trying to whisk away the motorbike and a bag belonging to the victims.
The officer, who engaged in some exchanges with the suspect before identifying himself as a policeman said he saw the man attempting to take both the bike and the bag away.
He said the suspect told them he is a repairer behind Pink FM.
He was handcuffed and handed over to a policeman who had been called by the officer in mufti that got him arrested.
Whilst being taken away by the police, the suspect said he never intended stealing the bike and the items but was rather helping to convey the victims to a health facility since motor riders usually assist their colleagues whenever they get involved in an accident.
